UNITED WE STAND

So we cannot agree on how to provide affordable, quality health care for all.

Some of us have swallowed the daytime radio lemonade being offered for the last 12 years.

Some of us really wanted "single payer" 'cause we think it would cost less but deliver more, even as we fail to understand why it is so necessary to make HUGE profits off the sick and dying.

Still more of us are completely satisfied with our VA, Medicare and Social Security Disability benefits, Medicaid, and CHIP plans, and our private, government-subsidized insurance plans - SO LONG AS WE AND OUR PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS are still covered.

Fine.   So what CAN WE ALL AGREE ON?   How about this:

Good-paying jobs & good benefits - health care, retirement, eye and dental care. Annual checkups, affordable, quality health care for ALL American families and individuals....Like we used to have before Congress EXPORTED our jobs and industries overseas. 

What to do?

CONTACT your Congresspeople and Senators and tell them you just want what their employers, (we the taxpayers) provide THEM:

What to Do Now:

Organize your family,

friends &

neighbors now.

 

Why?
 
Maybe you have health insurance now.
 
If so, can you afford it?
 
Will it be there for you if you lose your job?
 
Will the AMA or insurance companies offer you or your children/family/friends their services for free if you have no money or are out of work?
 
Who will take care of you? Them?
 
Let's PULL together and demand our government take SOME OF THE PROFIT OUT OF HEALTH CARE - just the profit people make now by collecting and distributing OUR money to pay for health care (which insurance companies do for 30 cents on every one dollar of our health care money.) This is NOT necessary and is no longer globally competitive! Who can afford private health insurance anymore, and their copays and deductibles, and still get the care we all need?
 
How?
 
Go visit your neighbors, friends, family. Tell them to log onto www.healthcarepartyusa.org  Ask them to sign our petition.
Then tell them to contact President Obama and Congress and the Senate at links listed to demand universal, single payer health care. Join us to demand what most Americans want now: quality, affordable, single payer health care.
