You hear it on all the (conservative) radio talk shows all day long. Listen to it-day after day in case their propaganda failed the 1st time.
There is no money for health care. No money for prescriptions. No money for education. No money to pay your home mortgages. No money for a decent, new, American-made car or truck. No money for food or clothing No money for pothole repairs. No money to help your neighbors after banks foreclose their homes. No money to help your friends and family who have lost their jobs. No money to GET AMERICA MOVING AGAIN No money start rebuilding OUR country, OUR roads and bridges, our schools, OUR INDUSTRIES.
After all, we have to be "globally competitive" now. The CEOs and stockholders of the Fortune 500, of the hedge funds and Wall Street banks and insurance companies have demanded as much, as they take $7.5 TRILLIONS of your guaranteed dollars to continue to feed and pay for their speculative nonsense.
But there is MONEY for the former CEO of GE to retire on an estimated $800 million.
And there is MONEY for the former CEO of United HealthCare to retire on $400 million in Executive Pay.
And another $400 or so million for Home Depot's former CEO.
And billions for Ross Perot, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and the 4 siblings and heirs of the $400billion a year WalMart Corp., and billions and millions more for the political pals of YOUR elected officials-here in America where we have a 'government of, by and for the people."
But there's NO MONEY for us to earn a decent living.
No money for your employer to pay for your health care and retirement - like our employers once did in Americas BEFORE your elected people sent all our jobs and productive industries to Asia, Mexico and offshore, and before some 25 million illegal aliens began competing for your jobs and your income and benefits, illegally-and like WE taxpayers pay for our elected officials in Congress and the White House and beyond.
And there is no money for you to be humane to your fellow humans, even if you do have health care. Sooooooooo -
